In the framework of this publication a novel algorithm especially for adjustment calculus of measured surfaces was developed. It's able to adjust polynomes with a multiplicity of coefficients as well as dimensions (positive and negative potences) to a given dataset. All of this with a minimum of computing time. The algorithm uses the method of least squares. A theoretical part was written to explain the algorithm in detail. Furthermore a complete easy-to-use Scilab script including examples was written.
